I started something new this week.
I decided to experiment with being all nat-ur-al.
(with food, that is)
For years I have dealt with chronic headaches. It was nothing out of the ordinary to wake up and pop in some Excedrin migraine-every day. It was almost routine.
I went to the doctors a couple years ago where they drew my blood to see what the cause was of these constant headaches, but no results. It has been an ongoing thing for about 6 or so years now..you'd think I'd think about changing my eating habits sooner, but I never even thought twice about it.
Then a few weeks ago I got the brilliant idea that maybe it was something I was eating.
So a couple of days ago I decided to test my body and change my ways.
Nothing processed.
No sugar.
Straight up organic.
AND I HAVE NEVER FELT BETTER
My headaches have disappeared!
And I couldn't be happier.
If you suffer from headaches/migraines, then you know what a freedom this is.
I thought it would be the hardest thing since I have the biggest sweet tooth, but it has been so easy.
If you have any good recipes, please share! :)

Happy Days!

There are a lot of things to be grateful for.
But the main reason we have huge smiles on our faces this week is because
JASON FINALLY GOT OFFERED A JOB!!!!!!
And took it, of course :)
yeeeeeuhhhhhh.
Honestly though, I don't think there is anyone more deserving of that job than him. Basically since the day he graduated in April, he has been on the job hunt. He has probably sent out his resume to 100 different companies, networked like crazy, and was doing all he could. We feel so blessed to have found a job that is exactly what Jason wants to be doing.
Prayer works!
Dear Jason,
Your continual motivation motivates me to be more motivated.
Your optimism and faith never fail.

You kept my hopes high when I was doubtful.
You da best:)

Soo...
We are making the move to the City of Angels
aka
LOS ANGELES
Wish us luck apartment hunting!!

for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness;
and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."

Money: A piece of thin paper, yet one of the most powerful things. {I hate it.}

I'm married.
Which means I get cut off from all financial ties.
Which means I have to start paying my own bills.
Which means I am now broke.
But my Dad was smart and taught us when we were young how to save our money and pay for our own things. We always paid for our own clothes (besides christmas/school shopping), own gas, bought our own cars (or still paying him back ;)) but not the bills. Phone bills, car insurance, etc. I just bought my own car insurance 10 minutes ago and I am sick to my stomach of how much it is. Oh to be young again and the only worries you have are what you are going to eat and who you were going to play with.

Sorry this isn't the happiest of posts, but I needed to vent.

Shout Out

To this cute thing.
The big 2-4!
Never have I known someone so genuine and personable. He always listens to me and knows exactly what I'm thinking. He is intelligent and hardworking. If you ask him to do something he does it better than what you wanted. We are always laughing and we always have a good time. Life with him has finally been made complete.
Love this boy.
Happy birthday husband:)

We still don't know where we will be come next month since Jason is still on the job hunt..we could go ANYWHERE! Which is scary, but mostly exciting. We could be on the east coast, nothern california, somewhere foreign, or even stay here. I really want to go somewhere and experience something new, but only the Lord knows what will happen. :) Until then, we will continue to live it up the rest of the summer!
