Some of you might know, or many of you might have never even heard, of the famous SONYA DAKAR. For those of us in the skin world, SHE IS A GODDESS. From Russia, she was able to learn her esthetics there while meeting her husband, a chemist, who is the mastermind and maker of her products. (perfect huh?) Anyway, I LOVE her line of skin care products and I just thought I'd share that with you. If you ever get the chance, try some of this stuff out! Trust me, you're skin will love you.

Sonya Dakar’s at-home beauty tips are probably meant in preparation for the coming winter weather, but they seem appropriate for any time, especially for me right now:

  • To treat dry skin, do two things: exfoliate with a sugar scrub made from three parts sugar, one part grapeseed oil. Rinse with lukewarm water and follow with a rich moisturizer.
  • To de-puff puffy eyes, steep chamomile tea bags and cool in the refrigerator. Apply a thin layer of aloe gel to the eye area, and rest for 15 minutes with the cooled tea bags on your eyes. Follow with an ultra-hydrating eye cream.

Happy Easter

LOVE this time of year. SPRING IS BEAUTIFUL! I'm grateful for the life that is starting to sprout out of these bare lonely trees around poor Utah..grateful for warmer weather, pretty flowers, spring clothes, happier people (because of the weather), riding bikes, and picnics. But what I love most about Spring is EASTER! I love this holiday that we have to remember our Savior and to know that HE LIVES!
