happiest new year to each and every one of you!

can't believe it's already january. craziness.

i love a good fresh start and a chance to make new goals and resolutions.

every year, jason and i make our own individual goals and we come up with a family motto for the year. we put the motto up somewhere in our home that we can see every day and be reminded and encouraged all year long. this year our motto is:

try a little harder to be a little better.

this can be used for every aspect of our lives; whether it's in our relationship with each other, friends, family, Heavenly Father, goals that we make, church callings, physical activity, etc. 

i'm excited for this year and all the things to come.

oh by the way, jason got a job! he actually started today. 

it was tough, but i never doubted him. i knew the right thing would happen.

we just had to be patient and keep trusting in the Lord. 

so excited we will be staying here! yay.
